Ow Do Mack :D

I gave about 30 seconds thought to reinstalling EQ2 - but then I thought about how big the patch would be and my piffling download limit per month, and went off to cut the grass instaed :D

And there'd be no-one in the zones I could get to, I'd need to spend $50 squillion on expansions.

There's another thread about this on the forums - dunno if you have access?

Some general points:
- leveling by grinding XP in a new contested dungeon, Hole (or even Sebilis - or Scornfeather Roost!!) is dead easy
- some of the quests in the new contested outdoors zone (Sundered Frontier) are horrible horrible horrible and don't grant much XP/AA
- quite a lot of the instances seem really beautiful, fresh and interesting, but there aren't as many new ones as TSO had
- the scaling old TSO ones are ridiculously easy, nothing new
- we don't know about raids yet, but both HG and Validus cleared a lot on their first day
- many classes now gain more flexibility
- gear seems to offer a good progression curve and you get to choose more (i.e., between survivability and DPS/utility)
- there is going to be more content updates later

People in guild have rated the expansion from 3 to 9 on a 0 to 10 scale.
